IUAI Acceptable Behaviours

The International Union of Aerospace Insurers (IUAI) represents aviation and space insurance and reinsurance organizations from around the world, as well as the wider aerospace and insurance industries. IUAI members bring a diversity of cultural, religious, and personal beliefs and practices.

The IUAI expects individuals participating in IUAI activities will behave professionally at all times, and to abide by the following minimum standards:

•                      Respect all people, regardless of age, disability, physical appearance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ethnicity, and cultural and religious beliefs and practices.

•                      Respect and be sensitive to the customs, culture, beliefs, and practices of our host countries.

•                      Refrain from using inappropriate language and imagery at IUAI events, in presentations, and on social media.

•                      Refrain from harassing behaviour of any kind, including respecting the personal wishes of others.

Participants in IUAI activities who do not abide by the above may be sanctioned or expelled from the IUAI’s event (and future events) at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
