Visa Information

Welcome to Seville! To help ensure a smooth journey to the conference, please review the following visa guidelines and entry requirements for Spain.

Do You Need a Visa?

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and the length of your stay.

Spain is part of the Schengen Area. Citizens of the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and many other countries may enter Spain visa-free for short stays (up to 90 days within a 180-day period).

If you are unsure of your visa status, please check with:

  • The Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or
  • Your nearest Spanish embassy or consulate.

Visa Application Process

If you require a visa, we strongly recommend starting your application well in advance, as processing times vary by country.

To apply for a Schengen short-stay visa, you will typically need:

  • A valid passport (with at least six months' of validity remaining).
  • A completed visa application form.
  • Proof of conference registration (an official invitation letter, which we can provide upon request).
  • Proof of accommodation during your stay (hotel reservation or equivalent).
  • Evidence of sufficient financial means for your stay.
  • Travel insurance covering the Schengen area.

Invitation Letters

If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, you can request this during the registration process. You will need to provide the following information:

  • Given name(s) as on Passport
  • Last name as on Passport
  • Date of Birth
  • Passport Number
  • Nationality
  • Country of Issue
  • Passport Issue Date
  • Passport Expiry Date
